Happy 4 Months Old Mya!

I can't believe it been 4 months already! Mya had her 4th months check up at the doctor today. It was my first time taking Mya to her doctor today without my husband until he showed up unexpected. Something happened at work so he got to leave early and decided to come to the doctor too. It been 6 weeks since her last check up and at the last appointment she weighed 7 lbs and 12 1/2 oz. Today she weighed 9 lbs and 13 oz! That is whole 2 pounds in 6 weeks! Golly girl!

Mya had to get her immunizations injections today on both legs. Poor girl, she really hate it so much. When we were done and as soon I put her in the car seat, she stopped crying and went to sleep. Mya had to get 2 new medicine today because she has eczema on her arms and legs. And she has a fungus/dandruff on her scalps so we have to use a special shampoo from now on until it goes away in a few months. It is always something with her.

Right now I feel so overwhelmed with all the medicines Mya is on. She is on 2 different reflux medicines that given to her every 8 hours, iron supplement 2 times a day, cream for her skin 2 times a day, and shampoo 3 times a week. Please lord, I just hope nothing else comes in the way otherwise I will go completely nuts!

So in the past 4 months, Mya had learned how to rolled over only 3 times, she discover her hands and likes to suck on them when she is hungry. Mya learned how to crawl up a little and turned her body around while she is on her tummy. Mya already know how to smile and laugh and she follows an object or a person around.

Things Mya does like: having her butt tab to calm her down or help her fall asleep, likes to sleep on her tummy, love taking bath, only like to sleep when something is touching on the top of her head (she has to sleep against something), being in her car seat, being held, and loves her bouncer or sitting in her boppy.

Things Mya does not like: sleeping on her back, when I clean her neck and ears, the feeding tube in her nose while she was at NICU, when someone sneeze and cough, and when the dogs barks.

Mya next doctor appointment is in 2 months when she is 6 months old. When I just said "in 2 months, she will be 6 months old", I couldn't believe she will be half a year! Where does the time go? Seriously, can someone tell me, where does the time go?
