I Think She is Ready...

Yesterday was my good friend Sarah's birthday. She turned 23 and I cannot believe we are getting that old. Before we were like 15 years old and looking for trouble. Mya and I went to Frederick to have lunch with Sarah's parents and her boyfriend, Dean at Olive's Garden (YUM!).

I know the fact that Mya loves car rides and she always falls asleep. Funny thing, my dad said that he used to me take me for a ride around the block to help me fall asleep when I was little. Also when my family and I used to take road trips, I always fall asleep right away and sleep for hours. And even though if Mike is driving, I will fall asleep. So I guess that where Mya gets that from! The ride was about 40 minutes and it was not the furthest that Mya ever had ridden but pretty close. And after lunch, Mya and I went home. Then Mya, Shamere, and I went to the mall for Shamere's spring clothes shopping since she doesn't fit in her old clothes. At last, we went back home to get Mike to go out to dinner. Basically, Mya and I have been out all day and running around. She did not have any problems and I think she likes it.

We are leaving for Florida in first week of April and we are driving! I was nervous about the long ride and how Mya is going to react but I think she is ready for it since she has no problems riding the car now and being out all day in strap in her car seat.

Nothing really is new expect her daddy got her jungle play set like a gym. It has music, jungles animals and lights. She did not like it at first but then on the next day she enjoyed it. She was doing a break out dance circle on it! She did not roll over on it yet but she did moved around.
