It is Official, Mya is Growing

Tonight, while I was feeding Mya, she started to snoozing off. It was time to put her in the vibrate bassinet that sits next to my bed. Before I did that, I had to changed her wet diaper and changed her clothes to her PJ's. After I changed her diaper to nice clean dry diaper, I had to put her white cold medicine on her skin where the eczema was on her arms and legs. She doesn't mind the cream because she actually enjoys the massage I am giving her while I put the medicine on. I wish I could get massage like Mya is getting 2 times a day! Maybe I should hired a massage therapist! I know, I was just daydreaming right there! It would be nice though! Finally, I put her clean PJ's on but then suddenly, I couldn't snapped the buttons on her clothes and she couldn't straight her legs out in her PJ's because the outfit was too small on her! I decided to changed her in a different PJ's that was in a newborn size and it still didn't fit! I must have tried 5 different of them and realized my baby Mya does not fit in newborn outfit anymore! I was so sad because I did not want her to get big! Now I understand why my parents and my grandparents always say, "what happened to you? You used to be so cute!"

After I changed Mya, I put her down on her tummy so she can go to sleep. She snoozed off right away. I decided to go through her closet and take out the ones that is newborn size. I know some of the onsies will still fit her because she was wearing one today and it fitted her just fine. It just her legs are getting long. So whatever PJ's that has Mya has to put her legs in, I took it out from the closet and put it on the side so I can storage it for the next kid in the future, if it is a girl. When I was done, I finally had more room in the closet.

I was glad that I recently went clothes shopping for Mya for size 0-3 months because I knew she was getting big and she will needed a bigger clothes. I brought a lot of spring clothes and it is a perfect timing too because the weather been warm. I brought Mya's first pink bathing suit that has a oversize pink hat to go with it. I can't wait put her in it. I need to get a sunglasses for her and then she will be all good to go! She will be wearing it when we go to Florida during the first week of April. We will be going to the beach and the pool. Mya has not met her great-grandparents yet and I know they are very excited to meet her. It is their first great-grandchild.

So Mya, please don't grow too fast! Mommy is 24 years old, and I wish I was still a kid where I did not have to worried about bills and real life. So an advice for you, don't grow too fast and enjoy your child lifetime as long as you can!

  1. Jessie! This is happening to us right now too. I guess it's time for our teeny tiny babies to start not being so "teeny tiny" anymore! Some newborn sized stuff still fits Nathan and Scarlett, but I'm sure it's just a matter of days before we have to put it all away. I'm saving their Preemie clothes forever, those were the cutest.
